Rancho Notorious provides the following horseback riding tours:
Tour #1 country side & hidden lagoon (1hr)
From the ranch we will take you on horseback through our 'Cunucu' or Arubian country side to the hidden lagoon where the
donkeys, iguanas, parakeets and more live. Take pictures, perfect for beginners Duration more or less 1 hrs, pickup
times start at 10:00 am & 4:00 PM (free transportation)
All skill levels are welcome! No galoping allowed
Tour #2 Beach & water at Malmok Reef (2 hrs)
Our guides will take you through the countryside to the Fisherman's huts at the beautiful coastline of Malmok beach
where you walk through the water with your horse.
This trip is fun for all ages!
Duration more or less 2 hrs, pickup times start 8.00 am & 2:00pm
All skill levels are welcome! No galloping allowed
Free round trip transportation!
Tour #3 N-E Coast, Sand Dunes
This tour shows you a little bit of everything. Through the 'Cunucu' you'll reach the Northeast coast, passing the Tierra del
Sol Golf course ,take photos of the beautiful view, Gallop over dunes of fine white sand (only if you are experienced rider)
take a rest on the beach. On this tour the galloping is allowed, all skill levels are welcome Duration more or less 2hrs,
pickup times start 8.00 am & 2:00PM
Tour #4: Through the National Park to the Natural Pool
Through the cunucu of the National Park "Arikok" we will reach the North Coast. Enjoy beautiful sceneries, spectacular views and rough terrain.
We have a stop at the Natural Pool, where you have 20 minutes to take a short and refreshing dive in the crystal clear blue sea. We do not provide snorkeling gear.
This tour is not recommended for 1st time riders, Gallop is not allowed. As this tour is going down a steep hill, it's not allowed to take kids in your saddle,
1 person per horse, therefor also a max weight of 200 pound is to be maintained.

FAQ's Horseback riding
What do I wear?
- Jeans/ leggings or other long pants are recommended. Make sure you wear shoes that don't slide of your feet.
Should I bring anything else?
-Don't forget sun block, medicines,camera
What are the skill levels?
- At Rancho Notorious al skill levels are welcome. If you are afraid of horses you might want to reconsider going on a horseback riding tour (horses are animals, they're not automatic, you cannot turn them on and off like a machine).
Beginners -never been in a horse
Not beginners -less than five times on a horse
Inter-medium
Advance more than 20 times on a horse
Can children come as well?
- Children under six years old can ride along with a parent/adult. But keep in mind that you have to control the horse as well. Children of six years an older can ride on their own. Helmets are mandatory for children under 15 years of age. (these kids pay regular price). Advisable: very young kids get tired easily, take short trips.
How many people can be in one tour?
- The group tours may consist of 2 to 23 persons,third a day (am, afternoon & PM).
Private tour means that your group will not consist of strangers.Just you(minimum 2 persons) with your personal tourguide.
The maximum weight limit for horseback riding is 230 pounds. We take care of our animals; overweight can give back problems to the horses.
